A series of pictures that originated from free-hand mouse lines, fills, gradients, lots of copy and paste, a texture filter; in photoshop terms very simple and basic stuff. A way of learning the tools. Ideas about what the picture represents grew with the hundreds of edits - it would have been impossible for me to start with the ideas and design the picture. If the picture stands up for you it is because 'rules' exist, and in a given culture they are understood unconsciously. The composition in this one is flawed - a bit of a curates egg., but getting there.
